The New Record Nerd: Have Your Say

There's been some changes at Record Nerd. Apologies for not updating you all sooner.

Record Nerd has reached a size - several million records! - where the old setup simply couldn't handle things. [In geek: the old site was built in an early PHP version. Few hosts support that anymore, so we've done a quick 'n' dirty rebuild to move to a new VPS.]

The version you're seeing now is a stopgap. It's pretty rough around the edges and far from perfect. But rolling back the old site - as some users have asked - is not an option, simply because doesn't work anymore.

I want to make Record Nerd the single-greatest record community online... even if it kills me. The good news, I am certain I can do that (without killing me). But only if I have the support and encouragement of the site's users (ie, you).

I'll shortly start work on the 'real' new version. This will address many of the comments I've received so far. The site will also get a new design, eventually.

So I need you to tell me *exactly* what you do and don't like about Record Nerd ASAP. Simply saying 'it sucks' ain't much help. I need specifics. Deal?
